Do I really need a C5A visa for a content trip to Indonesia?
If any of your content carries commercial value — sponsored posts, brand collaborations, commercial shoots, destination campaigns or barter stay-for-content deals — yes. Since May 2026, influencer content work on a tourist visa or e-VOA is officially banned, and immigration monitors social media for violations. The C5A is a single-entry visit visa granting 60 days, extendable twice by 60 days for a maximum of 180 days.
Can I book a trip package without the visa service?
Yes. The trips are operated by Bali Premium Trip and Komodo Luxury and can be booked on their own if you already hold a valid C5A. Most creators bundle both because the mandatory Indonesian guarantor is the hardest piece to source independently — and we are that guarantor.
How far in advance should I plan?
The C5A takes roughly 2–4 weeks to process from outside Indonesia, and you cannot switch from a tourist visa or visa on arrival to a C5A mid-stay. We recommend opening your WhatsApp thread 4–8 weeks before your shoot window — earlier for Komodo and Raja Ampat, where private boats book out.
Are the trips private or group tours?
