C5AVisaBali operates from a Canggu base in Badung Regency, Bali, serving content creators across Canggu, Seminyak, Ubud, Uluwatu, Denpasar and Sanur. Consultations are WhatsApp-first, with in-person meetings by appointment Monday–Saturday, 9:00–18:00 WITA. Because the C5A process is fully digital, we sponsor and file applications for creators anywhere in Indonesia — and worldwide before arrival.
Where your visa agent actually sits matters more for the C5A than for almost any other Indonesian visa. The C5A Content Creator Visa requires a registered Indonesian legal entity to act as your guarantor and sponsor — and that entity needs to be genuinely established, actively operating and financially verified, not a mailbox. We are that guarantor, and we are based precisely where Bali’s creator economy lives. This page explains where to find us, which districts and immigration offices we work with, and how a consultation actually runs.
Our Bali headquarters: Canggu, Badung Regency
Our home base is Canggu, in Badung Regency — the stretch of southwest Bali that has become one of the busiest content-creation hubs in Southeast Asia. It is also, not coincidentally, the first place Indonesia’s immigration enforcement looks: the Dharma Dewata task force formed in April 2026 patrols Canggu, Ubud, Seminyak, Kerobokan and Uluwatu specifically because that is where creators film. Being based here means we see the same streets, beach clubs and co-working spaces our clients shoot in, and we hear about enforcement activity when it happens, not weeks later.
We deliberately run an appointment-based practice rather than a walk-in storefront. Every case starts on WhatsApp, and when an in-person meeting genuinely helps — complex sponsorship questions, brand-deal structuring, document walkthroughs — we schedule it. Our C5A specialist Niels Laurent works between Canggu, Seminyak and Ubud, so face-to-face meetings can usually be arranged close to wherever you are staying.
Office hours: Monday–Saturday, 9:00–18:00 WITA (Bali time, GMT+8). WhatsApp enquiries received outside these hours are answered the next working morning. In-person consultations are by appointment only — message us first via our contact page or WhatsApp.
Bali districts we serve
Most of our clients are already in one of six areas when they first message us — or planning to base themselves there. Here is how we work with each.
Canggu and Pererenan
The core of our practice. Canggu, Berawa and Pererenan host one of the island’s densest concentrations of YouTubers, TikTok creators and Instagram influencers — and a heavy Dharma Dewata patrol presence. If you are filming commercial content here, the enforcement risk of doing it on a tourist visa is now concrete: 62 foreigners were detained in roughly three weeks during April–May 2026. Canggu clients get the fastest in-person availability, since this is where we are based.
Seminyak and Kerobokan
Seminyak’s beach clubs, boutique hotels and restaurant scene generate a steady stream of sponsored posts and barter stay-for-content deals — both of which fall squarely under C5A-covered activity and both of which count as “work” if done on a tourist visa. Kerobokan sits squarely within the task force’s patrol area. We meet Seminyak-based clients by appointment, typically within the same week.
Ubud
Wellness retreats, yoga studios and jungle villas make Ubud the second-largest creator cluster we serve, and a regular patrol destination. Longer-stay creators here often pair the initial 60-day C5A with both extensions to reach the full 180 days — see our extension and renewal guide for how that works in practice.
Uluwatu and the Bukit
Surf filmmakers, drone operators and swimwear-brand collaborators dominate our Uluwatu caseload. The clifftop resorts here run some of Bali’s most active barter-collaboration programmes, and Uluwatu is on the enforcement patrol list. We serve the whole Bukit peninsula, from Balangan to Nusa Dua.
Denpasar
Bali’s capital is less of a filming destination and more of an administrative one — it is home to one of the immigration offices that processes C5A extensions. Creators staying in Denpasar, Renon or the city’s eastern suburbs are fully within our service area, and being familiar faces at the local kantor imigrasi is part of what our concierge service is built on.
Sanur
Sanur’s calmer beachfront attracts family vloggers, travel photographers and creators using it as a jumping-off point for Nusa Penida shoots. It is a short drive from the Denpasar immigration office, which makes extension appointments straightforward for clients based here.
How a consultation works
We are a WhatsApp-first practice, because that is how creators actually communicate — and because a written thread gives you a clear record of everything we advise. A typical engagement looks like this:
- Message us on WhatsApp. Tell us your nationality, your platform and follower base, what content you plan to produce in Indonesia, and your intended travel dates.
- Free eligibility review. We confirm whether the C5A is the right visa for your situation — or whether you actually need something else, such as the E33G Digital Nomad KITAS if your income comes from remote work for a foreign employer.
- Transparent quote. Our C5A service starts from USD 449, always quoted all-in with our fee separated from government and sponsor fees, so you can see exactly what you are paying for. Details are on our cost and fees page.
- Document collection and filing. We check your passport validity, proof of funds, onward ticket and portfolio links against the C5A requirements, then file as your corporate guarantor through the official e-Visa system.
- In-person meeting if useful. By appointment, Monday–Saturday, anywhere from Canggu to Ubud. Many clients never need one — the entire process can run remotely from first message to visa approval.
Beyond Bali: we serve all of Indonesia
Although our office and our name are Bali-based, the C5A application itself is digital, filed through Indonesia’s official portal at evisa.imigrasi.go.id. That means our corporate sponsorship works identically whether you plan to shoot in Bali, Lombok, Jakarta, Komodo or Raja Ampat. Two practical notes:
- You must apply before you arrive in Indonesia. Processing takes roughly 2–4 weeks from outside the country, and you cannot switch from a tourist visa or visa on arrival to a C5A mid-stay. Most of our clients start the process from Australia, the US, the UK, Europe, India or Singapore. Our step-by-step application guide covers the full timeline.
- Multi-island shoots are common. Creators filming destination campaigns across Komodo or Raja Ampat often combine the visa with a planned itinerary — our sister company Bali Premium Trip builds creator trip packages designed around shoot schedules.
The Bali immigration offices we work with
The C5A is issued for an initial 60 days and can be extended twice, 60 days each time, at Bali’s immigration offices — up to a maximum of 180 days. Which office handles your extension depends on where you are staying, and we confirm the correct one during your case review. These are the three we work with regularly:
| Immigration office | General coverage | Relevance for creators |
|---|---|---|
| Denpasar (Kantor Imigrasi Denpasar) | Denpasar city and eastern-southern Bali, including Sanur | The workhorse office for most extension filings we handle |
| Ngurah Rai (at the airport area) | Badung Regency, including Canggu, Seminyak, Kuta and Uluwatu | Covers the districts where the majority of our clients stay |
| Singaraja | North Bali (Buleleng) | For creators based in Lovina, Munduk and the northern coast |
Extensions are not automatic — they involve fresh filings, biometrics appointments and correct timing before your current stay period lapses. Handling that calendar is a core part of our concierge service, and it is where a locally based agent earns its fee: we physically attend these offices, we know their queues and their document preferences, and we schedule your appointment so a shoot day never collides with an immigration deadline.
Meet the team behind the office
Two specialists lead every C5A case we file. Niels Laurent, our C5A Content Creator Visa Specialist, has eight years of Indonesian immigration casework and a law degree (S.H., International Law) from Universitas Gadjah Mada; he works between Canggu, Seminyak and Ubud and consults in English, Indonesian and Russian. Elena Laurent, our Senior Visa Case Manager, brings twenty years of case management, an LL.M. in Immigration Law from Universitas Diponegoro, and tracks every Permenimipas regulatory update as it lands — in English, Indonesian and Dutch. You can read their full profiles on our team page.
C5AVisaBali is a registered Indonesian legal entity operating within the Juara Holding Group ecosystem, alongside Bali Premium Trip and Komodo Luxury. That corporate substance is not a marketing line — it is the legal basis on which we can act as your guarantor at all. More on our structure is on our about page.
Quick answers about our Bali office
Where is the C5AVisaBali office located?
We are based in Canggu, Badung Regency, Bali — the centre of the island’s creator scene. We operate by appointment rather than walk-in, and meetings can be arranged in Canggu, Seminyak or Ubud depending on where you are staying.
Do I need to visit your office to get a C5A visa?
No. The entire process — eligibility review, document collection, sponsorship and filing — runs digitally via WhatsApp and the official e-Visa portal. In-person meetings are available by appointment when a case benefits from one, but most clients complete everything remotely.
Can you help me if I am not in Bali, or not yet in Indonesia?
Yes — in fact you must apply from outside Indonesia. The C5A cannot be obtained by switching from a tourist visa inside the country, so the ideal time to contact us is 4–8 weeks before your planned arrival, wherever you are in the world.
Which immigration office will handle my C5A extension?
It depends on where you are staying in Bali. Broadly, Ngurah Rai covers Badung Regency (Canggu, Seminyak, Uluwatu), Denpasar covers the capital and Sanur, and Singaraja covers north Bali. We confirm your correct office and manage the appointment as part of our service.
What are your office hours?
Monday to Saturday, 9:00–18:00 WITA (Bali time). WhatsApp messages received outside those hours are answered the next working morning, and urgent enforcement-related questions — see our 2026 crackdown briefing — are prioritised.
